The AKG C314 Matched Pair Stereo Set consists of two C314 large-diaphragm condenser microphones. Thanks to the multi-pattern functionality - hyper-cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8 - you can select your own stereo technology. An important property of figure-8 is the fact that it's an ideal pickup pattern for stereo recordings. In that case, you can set two microphones to figure-8 or one to figure-8 and the other to omnidirectional. For high-quality stereo results, both units need to be as identical as possible, which is why AKG offer this carefully selected C314 stereo set.

The C314 Matched Pair consists of two microphones that have been accurately matched via computer calculations. You are therefore assured of stereo recordings that sound as professional as a separate C314. Obviously, all accessories are delivered in twos - two windshields, shock mounts, stand adapters and cases. A holder that can hold both microphones is also included.
