Headphones with a higher impedance will not deliver enough volume when used with the equipment listed above. The  250 Ohm versions are compatible with headphones amplifiers, monitor-controllers, Hi-Fi amplifiers etc. The  80 Ohm versions are compatible with headphone amplifiers with a very high output capacity.

DT 770 Pro 32 Ohms: Optimised for mobile devices

The impedance isn't just any pointless number in a list of specs, depending on the devices that you are using the headphones with, their impedance might be either too high or too low. When the headphones' impedance is too high for a weak preamp, the result will be a pitifully low volume and/or distortion of the sound. The DT 770 are designed specifically for smartphones, tablets and (portable) computers, which all have lower outputs than studio gear or advanced, separate preamps. This way, you will be able to benefit from the beloved sound of the DT 770 Pro, without needing to be in the studio per se. Listening to a mix on location or on the road with an iPhone or laptop is no problem at all!

Technology and construction

When it comes to frequency range, these headphones show impressive values: 5 to 35,000 Hz - it's all reproduced! This 32-ohm version has different ear pads than the higher-impedance models. Ambient noise is adequately attenuated with 20 dBA - 2 dB more than the other DT 770 Pros. The black synthetic leather feels comfortable and is wear proof. The headphones are practically indestructible, but every part can be ordered separately, in case anything should break. As it's optimised for mobile use, the straight cable of this DT 770 Pro is only 1.6 metres long. It won't tangle and is long enough for use with mobile devices!
