These are the

80 Ohm version

of the

Beyerdynamic DT770 headphones are intended for:

headphone amplifiers with a very high output capacity, when monitoring during recording sessions for example.

NOT intended

for normal studio use or use with Hi-Fi amplifiers (the 250 Ohm versions are recommended for this). NOT intended for use with smartphones, USB-powered devices etc. (the 32 Ohm versions are recommended for this otherwise the volume level will be too low).

For very loud surroundings (e.g. drummers on stage) there is a special version of the 80 Ohm editions, the DT 770 M headphones. While these offer slightly less wearing comfort and slightly reduced sound quality, they offer far better isolation.

The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80s are the 80-ohm version of these closed studio headphones. Thanks to the soft yet firm headband and comfortable ear cushions (which envelop the ear completely), the DT 770s can be worn for hours at a time. This is particularly important as the Beyerdynamic DT 770 were designed specifically for monitoring sound recordings. These headphones offer excellent audio with tight, powerful bass levels that will delight even the most cynical audiophile.

The DT 770 Pro’s sound

The Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80 Ohm’s impressive frequency range of 5 Hz – 35 kHz is part of the reason that these headphones offer such impressive audio quality. Additionally, these headphones have a bass reflex system for improved bass response. In order to shut out background nosie, the DT 770 Pros have ear-enveloping closed ear pieces that come in handy when you are mixing music. All in all, this great Beyerdynamic product has produced many happy users!
