Future Audio Workshop Circle 2 ist ein virtueller Synthesizer, der besonders interessant für Sound-Bastler ist, erfahren oder unerfahren spielt keine Rolle. Für EDM, Dubstep und Co. das wohl Beste, was dir je passiert ist. Vor allem dann, wenn du sowohl konventionelle als auch unkonventionelle Sounds für deine Produktion verwenden möchtest. Circle 2 ist knallvoll mit rauen und teilweise brutalen Sounds. Und obwohl Soundtüftlern jede Menge geboten wird, heißt das nicht, dass die Bedienung kompliziert ist. Im Gegenteil. Das Layout ist visuell orientiert und daher auch für Anfänger empfehlenswert.

Future Audio Workshop Circle 2: Waveforms

Vector Phase Shaping (VPS) ist der neue Pixie-Dust von Circle 2. VPS ist die Antwort auf statische Sägezahn, Dreieckwellen und weitere konventionelle, erkennbare Wellenformen. In Circle 2 können mit nur zwei Reglern Formant-Style Sounds gebaut und die Parameter bedient sowie Envelopes angewandt werden. Es wird auch Waveform-Synthese geboten. Hierbei werden zwei Wellenformen aus einer Riesenauswahl ausgesucht, zwischen denen der Klang anschließend ausbalanciert wird. Hierfür stehen klassische Oszillatoren, aber auch raue, extreme Formen zur Verfügung. Als dritter Oszillator können dann die wirklich klassischen Wellenformen à la Sägezahn, Dreieck und Co gewählt werden. Selbstverständlich können auch alle Oszillatoren mit Filtern und Effekte belegt werden, während die Envelopes und LFOs auch auf die Tonhöhe, Filtertiefe, Lautstärke oder Waveform-Balance angewandt werden können.
