These days, computers have bigger and better hard discs, more memory and faster processors, which means your DAW can run more smoothly than ever before. Most standard audio interfaces are equipped with budget components, but the Motu 828es audio interface is a different story altogether.This extremely comprehensive device has all the connection options you'll ever need, all wrapped up in a single 19-inch rack unit.

Features of the Motu 828es

Let's begin with the front panel. At first glance, it appears to have a logical layout with two colour displays for monitoring. You'll also find two headphone outputs and two XLR/jack combo inputs with individual phantom power. On the rear, however, you'll find a veritable plethora of connection options and functionality. There are two ADATs for a maximum of sixteen channels, or eight with SMUX. There's also network, Thunderbolt, USB 2.0, MIDI, Wordclock, S/PDIF, analogue inputs and outputs, the list goes on and on. This module can process up to sixty inputs and outputs at once! The Motu 828es is the ideal way to expand on your studio with a single device.
