Allgemeine Informationen

The Sire Larry Carlton R3GS provides enough definition for finger-pickers, and enough depth and warmth for plectrum-players, while the slimmer waist of the grand auditorium body shape provides a more comfortable and more manageable playing experience than larger models. The lower bout of this acoustic guitar is also more prominent, giving the core sound more presence which is naturally projected by the solid spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides.

The Larry Carlton R3GS: SIB Two-Pickup System

The R3GS is amplified using the integrated two-pickup system, supported by a Sire Zebra 7 SIB preamp that's been developed for no-fuss use as well as outstanding sound. A blend control pot adjusts the balance between a piëzo pickup mounted under the saddle and a microphone mounted inside the resonance chamber; the EQ Searcher pot shapes and fine-tunes the result, and a volume pot finds the right level. This elegant and thoughtful design is carried through to the included and unmounted faux tortoiseshell scratchplate, so you can mount it only if you actually need it.
