The level of versatility offered by the TE thinline Fret-King Country Squire Semitone De Luxe is not something you come across that often. This semi-hollowbody is voiced by a HSH pickup configuration comprised of a WHHB humbucker at the bridge for robustness and a WDG Focusfield mini- double-coil at the neck for balanced and focused tonal variation and sandwiched between. A Wilkinson WVT hybrid vibrato bridge supports the familiar feel and solid foundation sound of this Country Squire while adding some nicely subtle tone bends as needed.

The Country Squire Semitone De Luxe: 80% Extra Reinforced Sound and EZ Lok Tuners

Between the pair of meaty humbuckers sits a vintage-style single-coil to complete the flexible sound palette offered by this Fret-King semi-hollowbody. Besides the 5-way pickup selector switch, you also get four extra reinforced tones to fully customise since the tone potentiometer is concentric. Besides being able to adjust the light and darkness of the sound, the double-coil drive of the humbuckers can be dialled back to a single-coil sound. As such, you could see the Country Squire as a few guitars in one and, since it's going to need to handle a little abuse, it's been fitted with a set of stable EZ Lock tuners.
