JHS Pedal's The Bonsai is a 9-way overdrive effects pedal that gives you a selection of no fewer than nine different variations of legendary Tube Screamer tones from the 1970's to the present day. The first mode, OD1, is based on a classic yellow overdrive pedal that quickly set a new standard for guitar sounds.

Bonsai: blues, rock and metal

The Bonsai is great for blues and rock guitarists, but metal guitarists will find this pedal tightens up their sound nicely too. Five of The Bonsai's modes faithfully replicate the sound and response from some of the most popular pedals of this type ever produced by a well-known Japanese manufacturer. There's also a mode that's based on Josh Scott's favourite Polish-made pedal, while the last two modes offer modified versions for something more unique.
