This electro-acoustic guitar has a solid cedar soundboard to guarantee rich projection and can be directly plugged into an acoustic amp. The familiarly warm acoustic foundation sound gets accurately captured and sent to your amp by a Fishman Classica 3 preamp, which includes a built-in tuner, a 3-band EQ, a volume control, and a phase-reverse switch for countering unwanted feedback. A cutaway along with various other small but tasteful details like the open-pore finish, Van Gent machine heads and an ebony fretboard and bridge flesh out and finish the build.
