The VP83 is an all-in-one microphone for recording HD audio with digital cameras. The lightweight condenser microphone with super-cardioid pickup pattern has a high-quality directional sensitivity, so that background noise is ignored. This means that you can fully focus on the sound you do want to record. Thanks to the standard camera hot-shoe mount with thread adapter, you can mount the VP83 on any camera or stand in the blink of an eye. The1/8-inch cable allows you to easily connect the microphone to the camera.

User-friendly

This shotgun condenser microphone is equipped with three-way gain controls that allow you to easily adjust the input volume in accordance with the recording situation. Additionally, the VP83 is equipped with a low-cut filter, which allows you to easily filter out unwanted background noises. This LensHopper microphone comes with a foam windscreen, but for more windy situations the Rycote Windjammer is also available, which is a windscreen made of fake fur. That Shure leaves nothing to chance when it comes to sound quality, is proven by the microphone’s insensitivity to radio waves.
