The Spector Legend 5 Standard five-string bass wields the power of two Spector pickups, backing up bassists with the necessary punch of a humbucker in the middle position and the rumble and growl of a second humbucker at the bridge. This classic rock combo is balanced via the individual volume pots and brought to shape via the active two-band EQ controls, where both the bass and treble can be cut or boosted by up to 12 decibels. Spector has been building basses for over forty years, and every bit of that experience can be seen in the finish of this formidable bass.

An Agile Machine

Part of the NS-Series, the Spector Legend 5 Standard features the playability and comfort of an elegantly rounded, flat-backed body that's been built from lightweight ash. The tapered maple neck has been bolted into a deep pocket and combines with an equally deep lower cutaway to grant smooth access to each of the 24 frets that line the ebony fretboard. Topped with flamed maple, sealed in a high-gloss lacquer, and loaded with chrome-plated hardware, this agile machine of a bass boasts a stage-worthy look and an affordable price tag.
