The electro-acoustic Yamaha FSX820C BS is a practical concert-sized steel-string guitar with a traditional Brown Sunburst finish. Yamaha have been producing FG guitars for fifty years with great success. This FS model (with a concert body) was introduced when the brand saw there was a demand for a more compact guitar. All FG and FS guitars are very durable and offer a sublime finish and a great price to boot. They are known to deliver a warm, highly resonant tone thanks to the solid spruce top that will sound even better as it ages.

Amplification and enhancement

Amplify the FSX820C by connecting it to an acoustic guitar amp, for instance. It has a high-quality built-in preamp with piëzo pickup, tone controls and a tuning device. It also features a cutaway for better accessibility to the highest frets. The 800-style guitars also feature a more slender neck and rounded fret edges for better playing comfort, and a new scalloped bracing that accentuates those low and mid tones. Finally, this 820 model has full-sounding mahogany sides and back and luxurious cream-coloured bindings.
