For serious audiophiles and field-recorders, the Zoom H4n Pro handheld recorder is flexible by design. Record live shows, found-sound, ambience and foley for film productions or just take advantage of what it has been rigorously trained for and take it out into the field for recording on location. Quality is no bother since the H4n Pro records in 24-bits at 96kHz. While the equipped X/Y microphone register excellent audio, two extra microphones can be connected via the combi XLR/jack inputs positioned on the underside, complete with +24 or +48 V phantom power and in-built preamplifiers.
